A day by the river
We’re hoping for a late summer lazy day by the river with our friends and family. Whitchurch is home to the Chambers family and also the setting for Wind in the Willows.
Please arrive at the Swan at Streatley (not the Swan in Pangbourne) for 11.45 in time to get on a Routemaster bus at 12.00 that will take you to the Church.
The wedding service is at 12.30
We’ll be catching a slow boat at 13.30 back to the reception venue - drinks, nibbles and entertainment on the boat.
The boat will moor alongside the Swan at Streatley where we'll be dining and dancing until 23.00.

We have booked and paid for nearly all the rooms at the Swan at Streatley for the Saturday night. Unfortunately we are 10 rooms short so have arranged for 10 rooms to be available at the sister hotel in Sonning. Please call the Swan at Streatley and ask them for a room to suit you. There are rooms available on the Friday - why not make a weekend of it.

If the Swan is full then you can stay at the sister hotel at Sonning. We will be arranged transport to and from the hotel in Sonning to bring you to the Swan to catch the bus. If you want to be slightly closer, there is alternative accomodation close by at the Miller of Mansfield. We have booked one room on Saturday and one room on Friday.

A few people have said they would like to get us a wedding gift. We’re old enough to have most things we need but have put together a small list here.
